Almont Hotel Nippori

"I really enjoyed my 5 night stay here. The location is so convenient with a short 5 min walk away from Nippori station, and a 7-11 just around the corner of the same block (plus tons of local food options around). My room was clean and quite spacious considering it’s still Tokyo, and the bed was comfortable. Also appreciated the strong water pressure in the shower! The public bath was relaxing and I enjoyed the “shampoo bar” which had lots of different Japanese shampoo brands to choose from. We opted out of the hotel breakfast as we wanted to explore other food options in the area, but you can still request breakfast on the day of if desired, even if it isn’t booked in your original plan.\nMy family had to leave for one night as we were traveling to a ryokan, and the hotel offered baggage storage for us which was really convenient, since we were coming back to the same hotel. Everyone from the front desk employees to the cleaning ladies were polite, helpful, and explained things well. I’d definitely return to stay here if I go back to Tokyo.\nA couple recommendations of nearby places we enjoyed - an odenya called Takeshi right by Nippori station was great, and if you’re willing to walk about 10 minutes, there’s a huge supermarket called Life in the Higashi-Nippori area that’s well worth checking out that’s open until midnight."

"Nippori is a historic and one of the more interesting districts in Tokyo, more traditional than many of the other districts of Tokyo. It is an interesting neighbourhood to stay in. It is also very easy to reach the hotel from the airport Express train and easy access to other areas of Tokyo. The hotel is very nice and modern and clean. The rooms are fairly big at least by Japanese standards. The price was also reasonable in comparison to other hotels in Tokyo. The staff were friendly and spoke English well. The only negative is that they are strict about the check in time of 3 pm. You can leave your bags there if you arrive early but don't expect to get into the room early if you are tired from your flight and want to have a nap."

"Highlight of this hotel is the breakfast, Almont hotel offers variety of Japanese food and their tastes also good. Room is clean however I can hear the noise of the room next to me.\n\nHotel location is good, it close to JR and Keisei Skyliner line to Narita Airport. It takes around 20 minutes to Asakusa by bus which is really good."
