"✨ My Stay at Akasaka Yoko Hotel – Clean, Strategic, and Surprisingly Spacious\n\nI stayed at Akasaka Yoko Hotel during my trip to Tokyo, and it turned out to be a great choice. The hotel is conveniently located near Akasaka Station, just a 6-minute walk from Chiyoda Line Gate 7. What made it even more exciting was that the area has a Harry Potter-themed atmosphere, which added a bit of magic to the experience!\n\n📍 Location\n\nThe hotel sits in a quiet but central area, surrounded by restaurants, convenience stores, and even a nearby park—perfect for a morning or evening walk. The access to public transportation is excellent, making it easy to get around Tokyo.\n\n🛏 Room & Facilities\n\nThe room wasn’t very spacious, but it was very clean and well-equipped with complete amenities like toiletries, a kettle, mini fridge, and hairdryer. I brought four suitcases, and surprisingly, it was still manageable—the space under the bed was perfect for storing luggage.\n\n💧 Drinking Water\n\nOne thing to note: there’s no bottled water in the room. Guests need to get drinking water from the lobby, and it’s only available during certain hours. Not a big issue, but good to know in advance.\n\n⏱ Easy Check-in & Check-out\n\nThe check-in and check-out process was smooth and easy, with friendly staff. Even with minimal English, communication was clear enough."

"The location, facilities, service, and amenities are good. Our biggest and only complaint was the smoke in the hallway on 5th floor. We had booked thru a travel agency. 3 persons. Did not see smoking as an issue when booking.\n\nAfter checking in, realized the strong smell of smoke in the hallway. Even spoke with front desk, was informed that this is the only floor that can accommodate 3 persons. They did provide an air purifier in the room. What was interesting was that the smell of smoke was significantly strong in the morning. In the evening it was less.\n\nBreakfast was subpar for continental. May be great as Japanese breakfast (can not comment)."

"Very clean. The room service is very thorough and on days when I didn't have my room cleaned, I was given a package with fresh towels. Everything worked well. Great water pressure, always hot. The location is convenient. There are coin washers and dryers available and vending machines.\n\nThe room was very small and there isn't a great place to put luggage (just the floor). The bathroom is typical for Japan - small but clean, modern, and functional. The tradeoff for the small size is that it's a very affordable hotel.\n\nFor the most part, the room was very quiet. I think the bathroom walls are less insulated for noise, but it wasn't a problem.\n\nThe carpet was old but everything else was reasonably new. The bed was comfortable. It was nice to have a little fridge and a kettle in the room."
