"Decent 4 night stay in this hotel. Room was nicely cleaned everyday as per request. Good sized room for something in tokyo of this price. Breakfast was provided in the morning at the lobby. Simple breads and beverages.\nLocation was also good because it was convenient to go to popular locations like Ginza, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ueno, Asakusa etc. on the ginza and Marunouchi lines. Short few mins walk to Akasaka-Mitsuke station.\nLots of food options around late at night too after a busy shopping day elsewhere.\nOnly downside is no kettle or hot water available within the room"

"Standard business hotel with deeply mediocre rooms. Very poorly lit with only one single outlet and strangely designed - my room only had a glass wall separating the bathroom from the room and only a curtain separating the shower area. Cannot beat the location though - generally safe, so close to well-connected stations and surrounded with various eateries. But I did appreciate the free water and free breakfast foods offered."

"Cons - the rooms and hallways need a thorough cleaning. It’s a very tired hotel. The furniture and rugs have been very abused. This was our second stay floor 7 was much cleaner than floor 3 - when we arrived for our second stay, we were placed on floor 3 and I asked that the room be thoroughly cleaned which they did do. Compared to the 90 year old Onsen we stayed in in Nagano, - the Shibu hotel - the Granbell could learn a few things about cleaning from them.\n\nPros - it’s in a descent area with lots of places to eat and is close to subway and free water. I was very disappointed with the cleanliness they need to do better. That orange dental pick in the second picture hadn’t moved since we checked in. Sad…"
