"Stayed at 9h Hamamatsucho Sleep Lab and had a pleasant experience. The capsule was clean and comfortable, and they provided all the essentials — toothbrush, toothpaste, towel, slippers, and even sleeping clothes. The lounge has a great view facing Tokyo Tower, which adds a nice touch. Overall, a simple and modern space perfect for a short stay or layover."

"I liked the building and the area. Also the showers and baths were enough and big enough.\n\nI don’t like that I couldn’t stay in the pod between 11:00-15:00 (the “lounge” with no real chill area is not enough). When I booked it was not mentioned anywhere, so please make aware of that on the booking platforms.\n\nAlso the lockers are very small and I had to leave all my luggage under the locker which makes it a bit uncomfortable when getting clothes with no spaces if multiple people are in that area at the same time.\n\nAlso I don’t think you need new bedsheets, towels and pajamas everyday. So maybe try to make a “no cleaning” card or something.\n\nThe staff was great!"

However, while the price is cheaper than traditional hotels, it’s not exactly budget-friendly either. The capsules themselves are clean and well-maintained, which is definitely a plus. And free breakfast in Tully's coffee.\n\nThe major problem is the single elevator serving the entire building with no stair access available. You’ll find yourself waiting a considerable time just to get anywhere in the building, which becomes incredibly frustrating when you’re trying to move efficiently through your stay. This creates constant bottlenecks and delays.\n\nThey mention having a sleep monitoring program, but there was no explanation provided on how to access or interpret the results, making this advertised feature essentially useless.\n\nThe most stressful aspect is the shared common room situation. The atmosphere feels like a study hall, and this is the only space available for organizing your luggage. Since everyone must use this single space to sort their belongings before showering, it creates crowded, cramped conditions that generate unnecessary stress. The bottleneck effect makes simple tasks take much longer than they should.\n\nWomen use a different elevator system, which probably works better since there are likely fewer female guests, but the men’s side feels overcrowded and poorly managed. The location and clean capsules are the only real advantages - everything else presents significant inconveniences that detract from the overall experience."
