"This could have been the best hotel in Rome: a great location, a beautiful pool, an anniversary gift in the room, Italian cuisine… but!\n\nWe were greeted at the entrance by a porter who was vaping. One of the restaurants was closed for a private event, and the one where we had lunch felt somewhat neglected. The room was very dark, and at night we had to call reception because the air conditioner couldn’t be turned off—it was blowing so hard that my nose froze.\n\nBreakfast was very average, and interestingly, any egg dishes (other than the scrambled eggs on the buffet, which I couldn’t eat) as well as porridge were available only for an extra charge. The buffet itself was quite basic. Yogurt was only cow’s milk-based, and the desserts weren’t great. I haven’t been this disappointed in a long time.\n\nOn the positive side, I want to highlight the breakfast service staff, the spa team, and the excellent coffee.\n\nBut the most unpleasant surprise came at checkout: a 5% tip was added to the total bill without any prior notice. At first glance, you wouldn’t even realize it was there. We always ask for a breakdown, and these 5% really surprised us. They were, of course, removed immediately, but the bad taste remained.\n\nI think that with the prices charged for food in the hotel—food that, frankly, doesn’t meet 5-star standards—it’s inappropriate to add an extra percentage without informing guests.\n\nIn the end, you’re left with a strange impression: a stunning place with all the potential to be a top-tier experience, but due to staff errors or hotel policies, it fails to truly delight."

"Overall this is a good hotel but for the price you pay, it should be better. We stayed late May 2025.\n\n- Hotel is spacious and well maintained\n- Rooms are decent size by European standards and high quality\n- Breakfast is what you’d expect from a hotel with a moderate number of guests. Staff are attentive.\n- Pool is nice size and relatively quiet. Water temperature is too cold. Pool service is poor and pool side bar is closed / not staffed. WiFi doesn’t reach pool.\n- Bar looks nice but seems to be constantly closed or at least unstaffed.\n- On our first night, our room lost power. After about an hour we were offered another room but the situation was not well managed."

"A bit disapponting experience, below expectations. Great property with all the facilitiea you may expect (I loved the pool and outdoor seatings). Rooms are small and bathroom not really guests friendly. Service is good but a bit disorganised sometimes and not enough focused (they messed up with our suitcase during check-out). Concierge not really friendly & helpful (they are just busy typing on their computer). Be careful to the 5% tips added at the end of your bill, quite surprising!"
