"A hidden gem. If I walked by not knowing, I'd never guess this is a hotel and I mean that as a compliment. Up a small cobblestone dead end so be sure your driver is willing to drop you and your luggage all the way up to the door. We had no issues with this. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable - something I was pleasantly surprised to find. But the real gems here are the staff members. Everyone is so accommodating, welcoming and super helpful. Helped us get drivers when we needed and when the app wasn't helpful for a taxi, a staff member walked us all the way to the taxi stand so we wouldn't get lost. Highly recommend this hotel! We were a family of 4 and split between two rooms."

"I've never stayed at such a wonderful and interesting hotel in my life. Ruins in the basement, a terrace with a view, a location 10 minutes by foot to the Forum, Colosseum, and Michelangelo's Moses: we absolutely loved it. We booked two rooms (one for my wife & I, the other for our sons), and we had a private garden shared just for our two rooms, with lush plants, and seats with an umbrella. After a day of site-seeing, we met in the garden with our sons for drinks. It was so lovely and peaceful I forgot where we were. The rooms were spacious, with high vaulted ceilings, a CA king bed, a mix of old & new decor, and large bathrooms. And the staff of Shukri (the owner), Daniel, Adriano, Pasquale, Eranio, Aiat, and Giordano were phenomenal, friendly, helpful, interesting, industrious people. Our omelettes out on the terrace in the morning, cooked and served by the staff, were fantastic.\n\nThis Inn is a hidden gem, tucked away on a secluded side street, without even a sign above the entrance to let you know it exists. I'd go back there in a second if I ever returned to Rome."

"My wife and I stayed at this small luxury boutique hotel to celebrate my milestone birthday recently.\n\nThe Inn at the Roman Forum. only has a handful of rooms. Our room was spaciously comfortable albeit not as luxurious as some hotels we are familiar with. The bathroom was okay although a shower over the bath could be a problem for someone with mobility issues.\n\nThere is a small restaurant on the fourth floor which serves breakfast only. Breakfast is à la carte consisting of the usual fare you would expect. Hot breakfast meals are cooked to order. The staff in the restaurant are all very friendly and obliging. That goes for all the staff in the hotel.\n\nThere's a roof garden which we used late in the afternoons before we were told it was the exclusive use of two rooms with direct access to it. The photos on the website are taken from the outdoor part of the restaurant.\n\nLocation wise, I doubt you could do any better. The hotel is in an old house and within easy walking distance of the Colosseum.\n\nThe surrounding area around the hotel is a hive of activity with a plethora of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance..\n\nWould we stay there again? Why not?! There was nothing not to like about this hotel.\n\nPrice wise, like everything in Rome, it is not cheap. But if you are looking for something a bit different and you want to treat yourself, definitely consider this hotel."
