Hotel Best Roma

"This hotel is definitely NOT a 4 star hotel. Rooms are in desperate need of maintenance. It is not a luxury or quiet place. The area is loud and the rooms are not sound proof you can hear the cars and buses outside. The shower was with roast and often only cold water. When I was able to get a water to be a little bit warmer I showered as fast as possibly because cold water would start coming from the top shower (even though I did not activate it. In the floor of the toilet was always water coming from the sink making a mess). The room in general meed better maintenance the door of the entrance had to be pull with great force for it to open as well as the bathroom door. There were only 2 power outlets in the room. So I was unable to charge other devices besides at the same time. The TV signal was sometimes not working, when we reported this they told us it is not their fault because that is the signal. The tv is super small, my ipad has better image quality and is about the same size. For a hotel who claims to be a 4 star hotel there are a lot of things missing. You could have a better stay in a hostel and pay much less. At least in a hostel you would get hot water to shower and not be told to wait til night and maybe will be warm water."

"Just landed back in the UK. Firstly the pictures on every site promoting this hotel is out of date. There is no bar outside with lovely canopy. The bar if that's what you call it had alcohol there for so long that all the bottles were dusty and so was the glasses. Very disappointed definitely a misrepresentation of what we were expecting. The rooms are very in keeping with Italy it is not contemporary but dark wood. Definitely need updating. The bed was so uncomfortable it was like sleeping on wooden boards. You could see two dents next to eachother where people have laid there. Yes you could hear traffic outside and people entering their room but that is expected. The breakfast was very basic with meats and cheeses, definitely had concerns with one pair of tongs to pick up the meat and cheese. Even more concerned when I see people picking the meat and cheese up with their fingers and putting it back again!. The area now I have stayed out of town and here. The area isn't the best lots of graffiti around and a few homeless people. You have the metro about 5 mins walk where you can get a ticket to get you around for about £2 for 100 mins this can also be used on the buses. There are other options for tickets definitely worth doing. I wouldn't say the main attractions are in walking distance save your feet for seeing stuff. You have a few bars which do food they don't get it to you in a hurry but hey you have to rest at stone point. Restaurants near the hotel we only be really are at couple of places and both of those were Chinese. Amazing!!! Very tasty good price across to the Chinese was the best ice-cream parlour I have ever seen. 3.80 for a huge ice-cream or you can get one in town for 7quid and have 2 spoonfuls. You have a super market 5 mins walk so get your booze on there because the hotel don't have any. From the v airport you can get a train to the Termini the main station near by it is about 20 mins walk to the hotel. Got stung once at a restaurant the name is Bar Zinzilla 2 glasses of wine 2 beers and a sharing appetizers cost 140 quid always ask for a menu lol looking at the reviews we got off lightly. So my review is this hotel is pretty shocking definitely not 4 star I would give it 2. I'm giving it a 1 because the lady that cleaned our room was brilliant clean towels and bedding every day. But I would never got there again."

"This hotel is labeled as a 4 star but i dont believe it really deserves it. The rooms are incredibly noisy and you can basically hear anything your neighbours are doing. Also in both my room and my parents room theres something wrong with the toilet, the seat is crooked in our room and in my parents the flush buttons will not work and if they try to flush the entire plate with the buttons just falls off. The staff is kind though and the location is amazing, only being a 20 minute walk away from the colosseum and the public transport station."
