"The hotel has a great location — no doubt. You’re in the heart of Rome, surrounded by history, beauty, and timeless Italian charm. But once you walk into the hotel and your room… that magic disappears fast.\n\nAs a designer, I usually try not to be overly critical — I can overlook minor flaws. But when everything is off, it’s impossible to stay silent.\nLet’s start with the TV and fridge: the placement is awkward and clearly an afterthought. The fridge is too small to even fit a bottle of water properly — in the middle of summer, that’s just impractical. A decent minibar would’ve made a huge difference. The AC barely works, so you’re left struggling with the heat.\n\nThe furniture is badly damaged and visibly worn — chipped, scratched, and peeling from all corners. The dresser looks like it fought a war and lost. The curtains are sloppily hung, the colors in the room clash, and the marble shelf is installed like a DIY quick fix, with exposed brackets hanging underneath.\n\nIt genuinely felt like a rushed student project, not a guest-ready room in one of the most iconic cities in the world.\nAnd let’s be clear: this is Rome. Not just any place. The hotel does not reflect the elegance or standard you expect in this city — and it is nowhere near a 4-star hotel.\n\nThe breakfast room and bathrooms followed the same theme: tired, uncoordinated, and lacking any sense of design or care.\n\nRome is built on heritage, style, and pride. This hotel doesn’t represent any of that. A full renovation isn’t just recommended — it’s long overdue, for both functionality and dignity.\n\nTourists come for what’s outside, but at the end of the day, we sleep inside — and that experience matters just as much."

"It’s the worst hotel we have stayed ever. I don’t understand how it has got 4* rating. The rooms are old and shaggy. Walls are dirty. There’s no wardrobe , just a space in the room with walls. I haven’t seen anything like that in any other hotel, especially a 4*. The AC is controlled by the reception and if you ask them to lower the temperature they are rude about it. There was not enough hot water in the shower. The shower water didn’t drain properly and shower was flooded. The shower door was not sealed properly and all the water leaked out in the bathroom.\nEvening Reception staff was rude and unhelpful.\nVery bad experience considering a 4* hotel!"

"3 stars from me for the favorable location of this hotel ( very close to Roma Termini !!) and the service. However, calling this a 4-star hotel is a joke - poor air-conditioning, old rooms, bathrooms that gave off an odor, a bathroom glass door that didn't slide well and at some point even posed great physical danger , an elevator that wasn't too reliable - well, the list goes on. In short, this place is in a dire need of a makeover before it can proudly flash it's "4 stars"\n\nThe lobby staff was helpful and I would like to mention the gentleman who was at desk at around 8am on July 22, 2025. He was kind enough to oblige to our request for a document print out. Thank you, Sir! :)\n\nNow, I would also like to mention this other tall older gentleman at the bar during the evening of July 20, 2025. The response we received for politely requesting for few plates was quite off putting! He was just rude and handed us some plastic cutlery instead, despite telling him that we stayed at the hotel. Now what hotel refuses plates for it's guests? This guy needs some serious lessons in hospitality so that he can stop throwing his weight around."
