Grand Sea View Lembongan

"THE DIRTIEST ROOM WE'VE EVER HAD\nI've been traveling around Indonesia for a few weeks with my 3-year-old, and this was the dirtiest room we've ever had.\nDust, dirt, and sand in the closet and on the shelves. The bathroom floor was black and unwashed.\nI don't know where these positive reviews came from; maybe we were unlucky. I was trying to put my things in the closet and wiped the shelf with my hand, and I was devastated. I cleaned everything with a wet wipe and went to reception to show them and ask them to clean it again.\nI checked the bathroom, which was even worse.\nThe girl at the reception. She probably doesn't know what her duties are.\nI had to fill out the paperwork myself, ask for everything, and when we went back to ask for the room and bathroom to be cleaned, she rolled her eyes with a look of what we wanted. Unfortunately, we had a 4-night reservation.\nthe towels are not white, but gray 🤮\nWe didn't use the pool. Our daughter didn't even ask for it, but if it's as dirty as our room, she probably knew what she was doing."

"What a place, great value for money! Family run business and they help you with everything on the island. The rooms are recently renovated and have an incredible view!! Breakfast also very nice."

"We were very impressed with this accommodation! Lovely spacious clean rooms - newly painted too! Beautiful views from bed with the curtains open, nice little balcony. Great pool area with a view of-clean pool! Bed was comfortable, blackout curtains are great, safe for use, little fridge in room with mini bar (bintang, coke/sprite and waters), kettle with tea/coffee was a nice touch. Great air conditioning. The location was perfect for us - near the main road (which is still a small road) so easy to access everywhere on the island and Ceningan. Spacious parking for scooters. The hotel is run by a local family who are all so lovely! The dad has a scooter business too and delivered a scooter for us to rent for the time. They organised a taxi for us to the boat also - fair prices. We were able to leave our luggage with them when we checked out so we could head off for the day-felt super safe! We would definitely stay here again. If you are looking for good, budget friendly accommodation this honestly ticks all the boxes. (Side note:there is another similarly named accommodation in Lembongan and I think the reviews sometimes get mixed, for example I saw a bad review about a bungalow stay which isn’t this accommodation at all.)"
