"We stayed for three nights at Alila Manggis, and were blown away by Alila Manggis’ hospitality and service, from our warm welcome by Winda, to the thoughtful gestures of bringing banana bread and icy water after a snorkelling trip.\n\nEvery member of staff including food and drink, gardeners and front of house, always had a warm and genuine smile, and nothing was too much trouble.\n\nThe food and drinks were exceptionally high standard, including varied menus and spectacular presentation. The menus catered for both Balinese and Western tastes, and were full of flavour. Joni and the food and beverage team brought the Alila flair to even more basic Western dishes, which further elevated the experience.\n\nThe pool and estate were immaculate and the staff worked extremely hard round the clock to ensure the best possible experience.\n\nAlila Manggis had an extremely peaceful and tranquil environment from check in to check out, and it is the perfect retreat for those wanting a quiet reset.\n\nThank you so much, we hope to come back again next year - but for a longer stay!"

Unlike the commercialise of other areas of Bali.\n\nThe breakfast offered is of impressive quality, with the porridge being a standout dish that I highly recommend. I didn’t have the chance to try the other dining venues, but I’ve heard good things about them.\n\nThe centerpiece of the resort is undoubtedly the stunning pool, which provides a picturesque spot to lounge and soak up the sun.\n\nMy room was comfortable and well-kept, with a simple design that reflects the local aesthetic. However, I did wish for a bathtub to enhance the bathing experience.\n\nThe grounds of Alila Manggis are beautifully maintained, staying true to the Balinese concept with lush greenery and a clean, inviting atmosphere.\n\nOverall, Alila Manggis is a charming resort that offers a slice of paradise in Bali. It’s a perfect choice for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy a tranquil retreat."

"We had a hugely enjoyable 10 night stay at Alila Manggis. The hotel itself is beautifully designed - the water features and lighting are particularly stunning - and everything is extremely well maintained. Our deluxe room was very comfortable and it was a joy to lie on the daybed on the balcony.\n\nThe restaurant is great - an excellent breakfast and I'm going to miss the fantastic club sandwiches by the pool. The complimentary afternoon tea became an enjoyable ritual.\n\nBut above all it was the staff who made our stay. Every single person was charming and genuinely helpful - after a couple of days so many of them knew our names which made us feel extremely welcome and was a wonderful personal touch.\n\nLastly, the hotel's response to some construction work noise out of their control was also exemplary - they could not have handled it better.\n\nI would recommend without hesitation."
