"The Abian Huts was fantastic! We would definitely stay there again. The huts were simple but comfortable with a large bed, airconditioning and fridge. The downstairs open-air bathroom was fun, but not for those who wouldn’t like sharing a shower with a frog. We had two little frogs who lived in the shower drain and popped out each night.\n\nI also saw a Tokay Gecko! It was amazing to see one in the wild.\n\nThe staff there were very friendly and super welcoming, with a juice upon arrival before being shown to our room. Room was cleaned each day and some water provided. We hired a scooter from the hotel for a day and it was cheap and very convenient. We also had them arrange a snorkelling tour that was absolutely fantastic.\n\nThe accommodation was in a good location, just a very short walk to dream beach and devils tears. With the scooter hire it was very easy to get across to the other side of the island to explore.\n10/10 recommend."

"After a very stressful journey (see my review of Glory boats: huge amounts of anxiety but actually really good: we’re just not to travel Bali style!) so Abian huts comprise about a dozen wooden huts, they are spacious and have private outside (open air) showers & loos. We were disappointed on arrival: nothing huge but cumulatively disappointing:\nSafe didn’t work: sorted they gave me a key\nBedside light didn’t work: fixed promptly.\nDirty drinking glasses\nRusty by effective fridge.\nDoor to ex was locked and couldn’t be opened (key jammed in so they removed the lock: security compromised but not realistically so.\nDirty tiling around the sink\n\nSo the good bits: The staff were really obliging and did their best: we just had different standards. Items in the fridge were inexpensive. Scooter hire was very inexpensive and as simple as “here’s the key, this is how it works” and off we went. The gardens were immaculate and very well tended.\n\nI’m pretty organised and perhaps just need to accept the Balinese way."

"This charring and peaceful Resort is one of the most beautiful places I stayed at (and I have traveled a lot)\nThe most amazing thing is that the huts are completely built with wood 🪵 and natural materials\nThere are many trees, flowers and a green large garden and also a nice pool.\nBeds are clean and comfortable as well as towels\nI highly recommend this place if you are looking for something genuinely local"
