"What an incredible experience staying here. We were treated like royalty. The entire staff was so kind and friendly but I need to point out Dexter especially! He went above and beyond anything we could have expected. Everything from bringing our luggage to our room and showing us all the features, to walking all the way across the lobby to open the door for us to go out, to just always saying bon jour and asking us how we were doing. I looked forward to seeing him every day.\nThank you all for making our time in Paris exquisite!"

"Every hotel has a history and this one is intriguing and they embrace it every day in the level of service and quality.\n\nFrom when you walk in you absolutely absorb the indulgent Russian French decor which is evident in every floor in room. It's opulence without attitude. Quality of the materials throughout the building are just exceptional.\n\nWe were upgraded an unbelievable suite with the best views and multiple spaces to relax and also work as we both came here for that.\n\nAs I was working a few days this week they were extremely accommodating both on the terrace bar and restaurant area to welcome me to do my job also and being in Paris. Many hotels frown on this but this place definitely embraces it. Laptops are welcome if you're a resident.\n\nThere was few minor blips along the trip nothing that can be faulted to the hotel but they remedied them actually immediately. That is a sign of this level of service, the reaction to anything that goes wrong and sorting it out promptly professionally. Which they absolutely have done. Reaction and then action.\n\nThe breakfast team headed by Marie was exceptional, amazing choices good quality food prompt service and our favourite table always awaiting us. This woman runs a tight ship and she's there you know it. But always friendly and professional.\n\nThe cocktail bar was always available for us to enjoy afternoon evening or a bit late night (I would suggest extending the hour is a bit later than 10:30). The staff reached us by name and always attend to us promptly. Cocktails which are at hotel price levels and are actually exceptionally nice and the service is the same whether you're in the restaurant area or out of the terrace.\n\nThe overall level of service from housekeeping to front staff was attentive professional and friendly\n\nHousekeeping after a room including turn down and even tucked in our little teddy bears.\n\nI think a hotel is more about the building nor the amenities but really about the staff and the people here care about their jobs and the people that visit them.\n\nThis is a hotel that I recommend absolutely and the fact that it's independent and has this amazing history makes it more intriguing and attractive to all visitors.\n\nVincent & Garry\n\n_________________________________________________________________________\n\nVincent Brian Kurutza"

"The hotel is great, next to the famous shopping street and arc of victory. The rooms was nicely decorated, it also had refrigerator with water and juices in small boxes (i didn't like the taste). The coffee and tea in the room was great (Lavazza). The tea came in small fabric unique packaging with a great taste."
